The Legend of Atlantis

The world is still in the colonial era, just after the beginning to be precise. Pirates and the Navy battle for the rule of the sea and several great adventures have yet to unfold on this glorious blue ocean.

Orca waved his hand and the sails fell, the ship began to speed forward in the sudden gust of wind that he had been counting on, pushing his grand ship across the ocean at a nice speed. "Keep her steady and make sure we port before nightfall, I do not want to be trapped because of the tide." He looked up to his second in command, a fine catch she was, and a brilliant mind too. "I will be in my quarters if you need me." He said as he strode away into his cabin.

(Thus begins another daring tale of rpdom)

Kira nodded. " Yes sir. " replied Kira as she gracefully hoped down to the first deck and turned to a fellow crewmate. " You there, take the wheel. Im going to check on the prisoner. " commanded Kira as he headed below deck. She motioned the two guards out of the way and stared at the wolf chained to the wall. " Enjoying your stay so far pirate? "

Derak looked up to see Kira infront of him. " Oh piss off, I wont give you the pleasure of tormenting me. " growled Derak as he tried to struggle free of the chains that held him suspended.

Kira smirked. " Oh dont worry, the only torment you shall recieve is being sent to the gallows. But if it makes you feel better, ill take care of that pretty little ship of yours. " mocked Kira as she turned around and made her way back to the upper deck.

Orca sat in his quarters and began to draw up plans for his next voyage, trying to make sure to rope in at least one more perfect undercover action from Kira. She was very good at her job and he was glad she had accepted the post of his second in command, he had someone on board he could trust.

Odessa looked out over the wide seas and smiled. "Next stop, Corpacus." she turned and looked over her ship, getting ready to set sail. All her crew, hard-working. We're going to have to watch for the navy quite well on this next trip she thought, remembering how she'd sunk their last attackers. She had a feeling they'd want a bit of payment for that ship, and that crew. She sighed. "Ready crew!" She stepped up to the wheel and drew her sword waving it in the air. "To Corpacus!" The pirates all cheered and arrr'ed and finished their jobs, ready to set sail.

Maple cheered with the rest and spun the wheel heading to the island that her captain wanted and makin sure to plot it right. "Should be there in a couple hours Captain!" She called enthusiasticly as she steered the ship. She loved working for a female captain, even if Odessa was strict sometimes. At least she knew how to treat her crew right.

Derak continued to try to struggle free of his chains but failed. " Bugger! Im stuck here in this infested pool of idiots. Even worst they have my ship! Id rather see my baby on the bottom of the ocean then in the hands of the navy. There must be a way out of this...." growled Derak as he struggled.

"It will stay that way." Orca said as he stood before his prisoner, smiling a little wickedly as he eyed over the pirate. "So my Captain. Where is what I seek?"

A look of confusion appeared on Derak's face. " If your talking about all that gold I stole from your cargoships, well.....*looks at himself* This jacket wasnt cheap you know. " mocked Derak

Orca grunted and continued. "No, I mean the Cave of Souls you fool. If you tell me, you will not be sent to the gallows."

Derak laughed. " The cave of Souls? Thats nothing but an uban myth. Your just wasting your time like everyone else. No one has ever found that cave...." said Derak with a hint of sarcasm

Kira appeared behind Orca. " This welp giving you trouble captain? "

"No, it's a waste of my time, as always. I shall make sure we dock properly, keep an eye on him would you Kira?" With that Orca shot the pirate a scathing glance and walked away briskly.

Derak smiled. " Your captain seems to be under alot of stress. Maybe you should go relax it for him...better yet, how about you relax my stressed. " mocked Derak

Kira briskly walked over to Derak and proceded to slap him across the face. " Watch your mouth you scum. Your lucky I dont just shoot you here and now..." threatened Kira

" Oh, now we wouldnt want that now would we...." mocked Derak once again

Orca stood at the helm, helping the navigator make it into port, then made his way back down to the cell. "Right then. Get him up, we're docked, we'll escort him to the barracks cells for holding."

Kira unchained Derak from the wall and put him in irons. " Time to meet your fate pirate! " growled Kira and she forced him up to the upper deck.

Derak grunted and looked over the starboard side of the ship to see his own ship being sailed by Navy soldiers. " Why dont you just sink her, id rather see that then have you touch her. " asked Derak

"Your ship is very fast, and we could use more ships like it in our fleet, it's ours now." Orca said as he led Kira to the off ramp. "Escort him safely if you would. You know what to do if he gets rowdy."

Kira nodded. " Of course sir. I will take him straight to the gallows. " smiled Kira as she shoved Derak forward. " Time to meet your fate. "

Derak growled as he was nudged forward and led on to a large open area. He look around and a noticed a large crowd was slowly beginning to form. " Well, at least im going to die famous...." joked Derak

Orca walked up to and saluted the Governor of the port. "At east Commodore." The governor smiled. "Another fine catch you've brought I see."
"Yes sir, another captain, but still not what I'm looking for."
"Shame..."

Maple successfully docked the ship along side what looked to be another pirate ship, but it was manned by the Navy... maybe it was a decoy or something. She should tell the captain, but the sound of drums reached her ears. "Sounds like they're about to hang a pirate... poor bloke." She made sure the ropes were cast the right way, showed their official papers to the owner of the dock, and scrambled out onto the wood, running full speed towards the fort. There could still be time.
