The Legend of Atlantis

Orca walked away to his cabin and the Navy soldiers took the five remaining pirates down to the cells, dragging Maple's unconscious body along and pushing the rest in, Derak would once again find himself back where he started.

After being thrown in the cell, Odessa sat beside Maple, still unconscious. She brushed her forhead with her paw. "I'm sorry, Maple." she got up in her cell and continued to bang on the bars with her fist. "Bring her water you stupid twits!" Odessa continued to create a ruckus and was determined to get something out of it.

Eventually water came, but it was salt water. Simply to spite her.

Odessa gave up and sat against the back wall of the cell with her head in her hands. Corpacus is still waiting. She sighed and laid down on her side.

Orca moved down and sat on a bench. "So, mind telling me what you know about the Cave of Souls?" He smirked a little. "We;re currently repairing the ship with what parts we could salvage off yours, which wasnt much anyway."

Odessa smirked and turned to face the wall away from him. "Why would I say anything after all this?"

"Because the truth with set you free." He smirked as well and sat back. "And if not, I'll slowly torture your crew to death one by one."

Odessa jumped up and rushed to the bars in front of him, holding on with her face looking inbetween them. "You touch them, you die."

He was sitting across the hallway and smiled wider. "If you havent noticed, I;m the one in charge here."

She looked from his nose, to his cheek and down at her leg. "I think I've left the most marks still." Odessa paused. "Even if I did tell you, you wouldn't just let me walk away now would you. You're not that nice, Orca"

"Niceties arent in the same ballpark as mercy, and I deal that out only when my questions are answered... correctly." Orca stood up and cupped Odessa's chin. "Or do you want to try something else?"

Odessa pulled her head away and glared at him. "I'll tell you something, Commodore." she spat on him. "I am still a Captain, and once I get the hell out of here I'm taking your best ship as my own."

"Well your associate apparently damaged it greatly when she bombarded the harbor, too bad for you that another ship wasnt damaged at all." Orca wiped the spit off his jacket and smirked. "I will give you a day to decide." And with that, he left.

Odessa slid down the cell bars and sat. "Fine.. I'll take this one." she spoke to herself. "shit, I hate that man." at that Odessa crawled to the back of the cell once more and laid down to sleep.

" Oh Commodore Orca...." called Derak from behind. Only he wasnt alone now, he had Kira hostage with a pistol to her neck. " Let me give you some future advice, when putting pirates in holding cells, make sure to keep them in one room... " gloated Derak. " Now, you owe me a ship, and being that you destroyed mine...I think im going to take this one. However, being that im completely outgun and your ever so lovely first mate here is my hostage. I propose a trade... " said Derak and he pressed the pistol harder against Kira's throat. " Unless you want her dead? In which case feel free to kill me as well. But we both know your not going to do that....are you Commodore. "

Kira growled as she felt the pistol press against her neck. " Im sorry sir, he caught me off guard..." apoligized Kira as she unsuccessfully struggled against Derak's hold. " Let go of me you bloody pirate! Ill have your head for this! "

Orca drew his pistol slowly and sighed. "Or I could just kill you like I should have done. I will say clearly, that I have a higher probability of shooting you before you shoot my first mate." He then looked at Kira. "Kira, do you trust me?"

Kira growled. " In all due respect sure. Not really, judging from the angle you would have to shoot and the distance between us, I say that the odds are 50 50...." explained Kira, although she tried to hide it, there was fear in her voice.

Odessa giggled at Kira's comment and said, "Orca, she's right. You were never a good shooter to start with anyways."

Orca nodded and lowered his pistol. "Fine then. I'll just have to do it the hard way." He drew his sword and looked at Derak. "How about we settle this like men outside, if you best me you get the ship and whatever you want to do to me. But if I win, you get back in your cozy little cell we left out just for you."

"Derak! Don't trust him!" Odessa ran to the edge of her cell. "He's not a fair fighter." she knew this to be very true. He was much more capable then Derak and way too unfair.

Derak seemed to think about it for a moment before suddenly shoving Kira into Orca and drawing his own cutless. However, he kept his pistol pointed at the two. " Very well, but because I dont trust you. I want you to lower your pistol first..." ordered Derak

"Shit, man." Odessa pounded her fist on the bars of her cell. Derak truly didn't know Orca's style and his swordfighting was so precise he'd have to pull a good one to get out with a win.

Orca smirked as he held Kira in his left arm and he threw his sword straight at Derak, stabbing him in the arm and the force of the sword's impact embedding it in the wooden plank behind it, making it very difficult to remove and no way for Derak to lift his arm or aim, or let alone hold anything.

Odessa cursed and pulled a dagger from her boot, throwing it at Orca with an unseen speed as his back was turned. Landing it in the back of his calf. "Take what you dish out, Orca."
