"You're really asking me that?"

Derak grinned and pulled Maple close. " Well, can you blame me? You are a fiesty one after all. "

"Alright fine, lets just get to work then I suppose." Orca shrugged and walked down to the main deck.

"Why on earth would I want to leave?" Maple looked curious.

Derak chuckled. " I dunno, perhapes your planning on slitting on throat when im asleep, stealing my ship, and dumping my body into the sea? " continued Derak jokely.

"Nah, I wouldnt do that."

Odessa kept up a positive facade the whole way to the town. Slipping was not an option for a tough Captain such as herself. She could not let others think she was weak. She kept a smile on her face, and her eyes to the water.

Orca stood at the helm and led the ship into port, gliding it in smoothly and the sailors dropping anchor and tying down the ropes to keep it tethered. "Well... here we are, wherever we are."

Odessa put her necklace in her shirt. "Not like we can't ask around town." she walked down to the dock and looked around. "Cozy...."

Orca nodded and jumped off the ship and walked up to the first person who came to ask if they had the currency to dock here for the day. "Excuse me, but where are we exactly?"
"Kalkash Port sir." The man noticed the navy wear and the ship. "Thank you for blessing us with your presence Commodore."
"You're very welcome, we're here for supplies and repairs, any idea where I can find both?"
"The blacksmith and the woodshop are down on the east side, and the market is down in the center square, I hope you find everything easily Commodore."
"Thank you." Orca smiled genially and waved for Odessa to get down.

Odessa jumped from the dock and stood next to Orca. "Where to first, Commodore?" she laughed.

"We could split up and cover more ground." Orca smiled a little. "I think you could use a little time away from me for a bit."

Odessa sighed, "By your orders, sir." she looked around for shops and anything of use. "Where you do you need me to go, and what do you need me to do?"

"You go get food, I'll go get repairs for the sails and wood for the ship." Orca bowed low to Odessa and ran off.

Odessa watched Orca walk away, half wanting to yell at him for bowing. She turned to see a street full of vendors and sellers. Sighing, she picked up a basket and began to walk down the street, grabbing things here and there. With as many as were on the ship now, if Orca didn't get recruits, or many at least, she wouldn't need too much food.

Orca made his way to the shipping center and quickly found the right kind of wood at a discounted price for Navy purposes, and had it shipped over to the ship in the dock to begin repairs, then he went and found someone who would patch up his sails at a discounted price. Being a higherup in the navy had really nice perks.

Odessa had made plenty of trips back and forth from the ship, gathering plenty of food. She had begun to get stares from people, conspicuous about her dressings and all. Odessa knew what they were thinking. Pirate scum, i'll bet She laughed at the thought. "No matter." Ignoring the frequent bad looks she got, she decided to have a seat in the middle of town by a restaurant. Odessa went in and purchased a drink, leaving the place and sat outside in the sun for a while, awaiting the return of Orca.

Orca nearly appeared out of thin air and smiled. "Hello Oddi! How's your shopping going?"

She threw the bottle she'd finished at a wall and it shattered. "Don't call me that. How many times have I said that, kid?" Odessa got up and smirked. "How was your... search?"

"That's not very nice, what did that bottle do to you? And I told you I'd stop callin you your pet name if you did the same for me." Orca wagged his finger and sat down.

"That was never a pet name for you, Orca. I call people kid. It's what I do." she paused. "Or would you rather me call you master and commander?" she bowed a little and tipped an invisible hat.

"You know Master is good enough." Orca smirked and took a bite out of an apple. "Okay, I'll stop callin you Oddi, good?"

"Yes, master." She slapped him on the back firmly and said. "I'm getting weird looks, do you have all your business done yet?"

"I suppose you'd get weirder looks if we started playin around like we used to out in the open for once." Orca sat back. "I kinda always wanted to try it like that." He shook his head. "The wood has been sent and the sails are being repaired as we speak."

Odessa shot him a look. She wasn't sure what look it was, how it looked, or how she had wanted it to look. Just a look. She paused for a moment. Trying to shake off stray thoughts. "How long do we have to wait here?"
