"I'm fine... I dont want to hinder your beauty sleep..." Orca chuckled a little and shrugged. "I dont mind really."

"yes..." she paused. "You're saying I need lots of it..." Odessa grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet with a great effort. "Get to bed."

Orca moved grudgingly and brought Kira up to take his post. "You still need to sleep Odessa, who knows what we'll be faced with when we get there..."

Odessa looked back over the water. "I just did. I'm not worried about me just yet. and I'm certainly not tired again."

Orca gripped her hand. "Odessa... please, tell me what's going to happen when we get there?"

She pulled her hand away. "I don't know yet. I'm sorry."

Orca sank down to his knees. "Will ... will you be safe?"

Odessa looked down at him, surprised. She pulled him up by his shoulders. "Orca, stop. I'll be fine. I don't even know why you'd care by now, truthfully."

"You must have guessed the other reason I was always after you..." Orca began, slowly walking into his cabin. "Even after I killed Damien... whenever I heard rumors about you I chased you. It was only recently that I thought you hated me so I started killing your crew. Didn't you notice how my ship would never shoot first and become crippled with only my crew dying while I tried to get to you?"

Odessa grabbed his arm. "Orca..." she paused. She couldn't think of anything to say. Her grip tightened on his arm slightly as she thought. "I... I don't want to lose you." Odessa tried not to stutter. "I'm sorry."

Orca did the first thing that came into his mind at that, and pulled Odessa into a tight hug. "I dont want to loose you either..." he whispered gently, holding her close.

Odessa hugged him back, tightly. "I never hated you. I never could, never would."

Orca smiled gently and squeezed Odessa a little as he held her tight to him. "I dont... I dont know what to say now... part of me never thought we'd get this far..."

"Ha" Odessa pulled away and stood by the railing. "You mean forgiveness or hugging? Because we've gone further than that, Orca. I am glad we don't hate eachother." she paused. "You may not want me after this is all said and done."

Orca looked a little hurt that she broke away so quickly but looked worried. "Why? What will happen?"

Odessa toughened up again as captain. "Your opinion will have changed by then. I promise."

"Rubbish." Orca folded his arms and frowned. "It's changed too much already, I wont let it change again. I promise."

(Just a quick note regarding Juli's absence. She's having some family issues right now after a recent get togather and is kinda stressed right now. She's fine and all but is just taking a break. She will join in later on)

Odessa looked at him and shook her head. "My poor commodore, you won't have a choice."

"We always have a choice." Orca said slowly. "Always."

"Not this time." She went to him. "Go to bed. I can take this."

Orca sighed and kissed her hand. "Goodnight then Odessa..."

Odessa squeezed his hand and thought twice about letting go. "I ..." she stopped and sighed. "I hope you sleep well."

"I wish you'd tell me what's going on..." Orca sighed a little and shrugged.

Odessa turned her back to him and rested her arms on the railing. "No one's the same, Orca." tears formed in her eyes. "In the end the choice will be yours but your opinion will be swayed. No soul will ever be the same after they've been kept for so long..." Odessa didn't blink, trying to dry her eyes before tears fell. "And I'm sorry if I ruined your sister." she stood straight and sighed. Staying quiet with her back to him, unable to face him.
